Canada in WW2

As France surrenders to Germany after the retreat in Dunkirk, the Allies loose one of their powerful comrades as German troops prepare for their next invasion. The Battle of Britain soon began in June 1940 when German aircrafts bombard cities of Britain. The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) contributed in assisting Britain as Canadian pilots shot down 150 aircrafts of the Nazi invasion fleet. However, the Canadian Air force also suffered casualties; 23 irreplaceable pilots and fighters. This contributed to Canada’s independence as it proved to the world Canada’s loyalty to the Allies during a time of distress while displaying the strength and power of the Canadian Air force.
